Use your own smartphone!

If you have a smartphone, you need two things to get the VR experience:
1. A VR smartphone viewer
2. An app that plays 360 videos.

You will need an app that plays 360 files or an app for a website that has the content uploaded.
The YouTube app plays 360 videos. Update it to get access.
Littstar also has an app player. Its available here: http://littlstar.com/videos/1dd6bb60

If you don’t have access to an Oculus Rift or Samsung Gear VR then you could use your phone. Using your mobile device is an excellent way to experience VR if you don’t have a dedicated headset. You need a relatively modern device, ideally with a larger screen. Most Android devices work well, like the Samsung Galaxy 6s Edge and iPhone’s are also excellent. The iPhone 6,6s and iPhone 6 Plus and 6s Plus are all supported.

Owl VR Viewers are available now for iphone 4,5 & 6, and larger Android Phones.

Remember, if you don’t have access to an Oculus Rift or Samsung Gear VR then you could use your phone and still get a good VR experience. Most Android devices work well, like the Samsung Galaxy 6s Edge and iPhone’s are also excellent. The iPhone 6,6s and iPhone 6 Plus and 6s Plus are all supported.

Option 4: Using a browser:

Films are often uploaded and available to view online using your mouse or keyboard controls to look around. With this way of watching you miss out on the experience of being INSIDE the film. It really is a less impressive way to see a VR film. Here is an example of our short film ‘New Reality’ in a browser player: http://littlstar.com/videos/1dd6bb60.

A viewer for your own smartphone is recommended.
